Bloody Books Review:Armies & Legions & Hordes (by Dave Taylor)

Dave Taylor is a bit of a legend in the hobby community, renowned for his kitbashes and ability to paint stunning armies across a variety of systems who remains an incredibly active part of the hobby community both as a commission army builder/painter and as a regular participant of hobby streams around YouTube. In recent years he has branched out into publishing, making use of Kickstarter to crowdfund the creation & publication of a variety of hobby-related tomes and this volume, Armies & Legions & Hordes, represents the first of these efforts, and the one that is focused most on his own work. As a hobby resource I cannot recommend this book enough - it is filled with armies for various systems & factions that Dave has either done as personal projects or as commissions, and his advice throughout is methodical and well laid out. And a nifty bonus is where Dave has enlisted some other names from around the hobby community to provide their own spins on how they approached a s pacific project. Well worth a look if you can find a copy.
