My First Army by Jason Hardcastle

Welcome dear Fluffer, to a semi-regular series where members of the community talk a little about the first forces they collected as they began this hobby of ours. Today we talk about bikers with Jason

After several trips of window shopping at GW Meadowhall and GW Sheffield the brightly coloured plastic crack had definitely caught my attention

Whilst visiting relatives in North Yorkshire one year, i stumbled across a small box with some amazing artwork of a heavily armoured chap sat on a huge blue bike.

This was my first warhammer purchase for the princely sum of £5.

Having 'helped' my dad build and paint model aircraft for a few years, i figured building and painting a small bike should be no problem for my 8 year old self. How wrong i was...

After receiving the 3rd ed starter box for Christmas that year my space marine army continued to grow and change colours a countless number of times as I tried to come up with my own chapter and eventually settling on my own chapter called the Wasps.

Over the years I've owned and sold just about every 40k faction, and owned and played most of the other games GW have produced.
